Students interested in practicing organic agriculture, researching organic production systems, or learning more about food systems can develop a strong foundation in all the applied agricultural sciences at Cornell. This broad range of disciplines includes production agriculture (e.g. horticulture, agronomy), entomology, plant pathology, plant physiology, soil science, agricultural economics and management, and post-harvest physiology.
A few courses specialize in organic production systems. These include:
- Organic Agriculture
- Ecological Landcare
Students can get hands-on experience at the Dilmun Hill Student Farm and by partnering with researchers on undergraduate research projects or as field assistants.
